Lyonnette M. Davis
LYONNETTE M. DAVIS concentrates in tax, estate planning, and corporate law. She has worked in the tax and estate planning areas since 1979. She has eight years of experience with the Internal Revenue Service examining individual, partnership, fiduciary, employment and corporate tax returns. She served as Chair of the Taxation Section of the State Bar of Georgia from 1998-1999, as a member of the Panel of U.S. Bankruptcy Trustees from 1994-2000, and as President of The Atlanta Tax Forum, Inc. from 2021-2022. She serves as the Special Master for complex litigation cases when appointed by the court. Ms. Davis received a B.S.B.A. with special honors in 1978 from Mississippi College, an M.B.A. with honors in 1983 from Delta State University, and a J.D. in 1991 from Georgia State University where she was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award and the Outstanding Law Student Award. Ms. Davis is a Certified Public Accountant (Georgia, 1986). Ms. Davis is a Charter Member of the United Way V.I.P. Initiative Program, a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
